October – CRPD presentations by Michael Fox in Bangkok, Thailand and Doha, Qatar.

July – Access Australia appointed by the Sydney Olympic Park Authority to carry out an access review at the Homebush Olympic Park.

June – Access Australia appointed by the City of Sydney to review access to and within the historic Sydney Town Hall and provide planning and design alternatives and strategies for more equitable access.

June – Access Australia engaged by the University of Sydney to carry out a comprehensive access program in relation to all Sydney region campuses.

March – RI India and World Bank Conferences in Delhi and Hyderabad regarding inclusive and holistic educational and community based rehabilitation programs in the South East Asia Region. March – On 15 March the Australian Government launched the DDA Standards for Access to Premises (APS). The intent of the Standards is to provide national consistency between the DDA and BCA. The APS will commence on 1 May 2011.
